We had another successful event with 278 registered entrants. WOW! I am very grateful for the dedicated volunteers who do so many jobs, big and small, which help make the event run smoothly. For the number involved as participants and workers, it truly is a community event. Proceeds will go towards helping out the local cross country and track programs.

Results are now posted and sorted by gender and age divisions. We had many proud finishers, from those of you who had the goal of finishing the distance, beating a particular time, earning a place, or working at a friendly rivalry with another participant. There are many ways your success can be defined.

After the race we posted the finish tags on the wall in the entryway of the Events Center. We're glad you were happy enough with your performance, but some of you took your tag as a souvenier..... We need that info. to complete our results. We go through age-division awards/results by hand, but double-check everything with the computer. So ...... if you happen to have your tag, please send me (email) your race number and time so I can get them put in for all the world to see and you can show off your performance :)

I did send results and a press release over the weekend to the Press-News. I was told they wouldn't put it in until the July 15th edition though.

One last thing. We didn't recognize her for it at the awards, but Madeline Miller set a new course record in the mile for girls with a time of 6:19. Congratulations!
