Osage Sites of Interest - Page 2

Cedar Valley Memories Museum has one of the Midwest's largest collections of rare steam engines. Located 1 1/2 miles west of Osage on HWY 9. Open 1-4 daily Memorial to Labor Day weekends. Small admission fee with 12 & under free. 641-732-1269. Annual show is 2nd weekend of August with threshing (gas engines,) antique cars, plowing demonstrations, and horse drawn equipment. All Welcome!
The Mitchell County Court House is one of the oldest working court houses in the state and is a historically registered site. Construction started in 1858 and was completed in 1860. A Veteran's Memorial is now placed out front.
